From 1 November 2018, the inauguration of the exhibition “L’arte novissima. Lucio Fontana per il Duomo di Milano 1936-1956” marks a new access mode to Museo del Duomo to further enhance its heritage of faith and art. Indeed, this initiative opens a season of new cultural proposals centred at the Museo and primarily targeted at the Milanese, with an invitation to discover the great story of the Duomo and its context over the centuries.
From that date, access to the Grande Museo del Duomo, to the Church of S. Gottardo in Corte and to the exhibition “L’arte novissima. Lucio Fontana for Duomo di Milano 1936-1956” will cost € 3.00 - € 1.00*.
All bookings made by 31 October 2018 for visits scheduled to take place by 28 February 2019 will not be subjected to changes in the cost of tickets.
From 1 November there will also be a special Culturepass for tourists that, at the exclusive price of € 7.00 - € 3.00**, will allow access to Museo del Duomo, the Church of San Gottardo in Corte, the Duomo and the Archaeological Area.
The following costs and access modes will remain unchanged: to the Duomo for tourists (whose ticket price is confirmed as € 3.00 - € 2.00*), to the Terraces of the Duomo and for the related Duomo Passes A and B (including access to the Duomo, to the Archaeological Area, to the Terraces, to Museo del Duomo and to the Church of San Gottardo in Corte).
No changes will obviously concern the faithful of the Duomo, who may as usual freely access the area reserved for Christian prayer every day, from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm.
